Gulayan Sa Paaralan Adopt A Student Program

In support of the “Gulayan sa Paaralan” “Gulayan sa Tahanan” Program of the Department of Education that has been implemented and ongoing since 2016 (see PDF), we are launching our “Bahay Kubo, Gulayan sa Paaralan” adopt-a-student program where you can sponsor a “Bahay Kubo Atbp” Seeds pack for a student.  You can purchase as many seed packs as you may want to sponsor as many students (even a whole class) to help them start and extend their own gardens in their own homes to help mitigate malnutrition and food security.

Bahay Kubo Atbp” Seed pack is composed of 30 vegetables seeds which includes the 18 vegetables in the song “Bahay Kubo”.  This is to teach the students how to plant these vegetables and also give them the experience of growing these vegetables.

We will donate these seed packs to the students in coordination with the school principal and their teachers/advisers in Manila City, Quezon City, other NCR district schools, and neighboring provinces in CALABARZON.  Donation activities is in coordination with Agriportal Advocates Phils. Inc (NGO), Lion’s Club International, and other civic organizations or groups.

As one of our donors, you can also participate during our turn-over ceremony and be given a “deed-of-donations” signed by the school principal.
